Jeff cut his teeth as a producer and sports reporter in local television for WVLK-TV in Lexington Kentucky. After a year, Jeff moved back to St. Louis and began his climb up to Senior Producer at Busch Creative Services. Four years later, Jeff parted ways with BCS to direct and produce commercials and corporate videos for the likes of Anheuser-Busch, Monsanto, Dell, The St. Louis Blues and SBC.
In 2002, Jeff founded Coolfire Media which, under the leadership of President David Johnson, has become one of the most respected commercial production studios in the Midwest. Since then, Jeff has produced an Emmy Award-Winning Prep Sports Show and served as the Creator and Executive Producer of The Cardinals Insider and The Rams Insider.
With a desire to extend the success of the company into original entertainment, in 2009 Jeff launched Coolfire Originals. To date, Coolfire Originals’ programming includes 170+ television episodes on several major networks. The company’s success triggered the development of a new division, Digital Engagement, focused on growing audiences and driving engagement around digital properties.
In January 2014, prompted by the strong intersection of commercial production, television-quality storytelling, and digital engagement, Jeff merged Coolfire Media and Coolfire Originals to form Coolfire Studios.
Jeff's Executive Producer credits include Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s (OWN), Fast N’ Loud (Discovery), MFF: Mom Friends Forever (NickMom), Reclamation Army (Discovery), Resale Royalty (Style), Funeral Boss (Discovery Fit & Health), Meet The Brekels (Lifetime) and Renovation Rebels (DIY).
